check_netapp_snapmirror metric transfer-duration

Monitors the last transfer-duration of snap-mirror relations.

Description

This monitoring plugin checks the transfer-duration of snap-mirror relations. (How much time did the last transmission take.)

Important Parameters

  • --warning / --critical: Thresholds for the transfer-duration. Can be set to seconds (s), minutes (min), hours (h), days (d) or weeks (w). E.g. --warning=7d is the same as --warning=1w. Months and years are not supported because their duration is not clear. See also Durations.
  • --comparison: Defaults to gt ( greater than, here in the sense of »longer than«). Switching to lt (less than) can be used to invert the logic and check for transfers with a suspicious short duration.
  • --include / --exclude: Filter based on the instance names.

Checks the last transfer-duration of all snap-mirror relations on the filer against the default-thresholds.

Checks the transfer-duration of all snap-mirror relations. Returns a warning if at least one of them took longer than 30 seconds and a critical alarm if longer than 1 minute.
