The checks of Check NetApp-REST require Ontap 9.8 or later (RESTful API). This is the only place in this documentation that states the minimum version. Other pages link here.

All other checks work with Ontap 9.8 or later.
Checks tell you in their output, if the Ontap version of the filer does not meet the requirements of the check. A missing data field that is not needed by a check does not block it.
